    We had the oddest experience yesterday at Vinokurov Studio. I had gone to get a simple hair trim for my son. Previously we have been there quite a few times and have seen a steady churn of stylists - some have been great and some have been average. But yesterday we had an appointment with Natalya - at first she seemed very unsure of what she was asked, i.e. trim my 10 year old's hair. Then she asked me if I have a picture of the kind of haircut that I wanted?!! I wasn't asking for a particular style or anything - it was just a simple boys haircut that should be the basics for anyone who is a professional. I was quite perplexed by her behaviour as I have never in the ten years that I have gotten his hair cut have I been asked for a picture! And when I double checked with her if she could do the haircut, she said that she was feeling unsure and will not be able to cut his hair at all. To which the staff supported her and gave me no apologies for wasting my time and told me that she has the right to refuse a customer! They showed no remorse for ths extremely strange, unprofessional and might I add racist behaviour towards a client. The senior stylist who was present explained everything to her and when she still refused he never even once thought that I have wasted their time - let me do the haircut. Instead he said I can do it but because I am a senior stylist it will cost you more! Extremely bad experience - I will never go there again. Its almost for sure that they want to cater to a particular type of clients. Very unfortunate that hair salons have also started behaving in such a rude and unprofessional manner. And all this was played out in front of my 10 year old son. Awful experience!
