I rang up today asking for prescribied flea treatment. I was asked how much the cat weighed🤣. I love my cat and take her every year for a full checkout and injections. I have never been asked how much my cat weighed before ordering very expensive flea treatment.

Are all vets so expensive in this area? But money aside. The place smells and renovation is not a priority for sure. I arrived with my dog 5 minutes early and had to wait another 35 minutes for my appointment. No explanation, sorry or anything justifying the long wait. Basically reception ladies pretended I am not there. Place wasn’t busy and no emergency I could see of. The appointment itself lasted less than 10 minutes in a teeny tiny room with equipment of the last century. The vet Serena was actually nice, but unfortunately not very helpful. Plus she was constantly mentioning how much it would cost to treat my dog for this and that. The bill for the experience was 114 pounds. It included 10 minutes appointment and 6 antibiotic pills. At my joke at reception that I will get bankrupt with my 4 dogs I received disdainful look and no comment justifying the price. To be fair this price can’t be justified, considering the services and general state of the clinic. In addition. They were suppose to send me approximate prices for teeth removal. Not a peep. Pity, it’s the closest vet to my house but I will keep searching for better clinic.

Avoid Well Animal Clinic like the plague. I am not sure if clients are aware of the money-oriented obsession Well Animal Clinic has demonstrated over the past decade or so. I have paid hundreds of £ for my cat. I was their client for nearly nine years (happy to provide proof!) - they simply prescribe steroids or antibiotics, no matter what the issue is. They also charge even more for blood tests. In some cases blood tests or medication were not even necessary! I spoke to several vets in the area and it appears that a lot of clients have dealt with similar issues. Find someone else to look after your pet. Well Animal Clinic's services are close to extortion.
