We have an older rescue dog who is very anxious in some situations, including the vet. Since we adopted him he’s needed specialist ophthalmology treatment for non-healing corneal ulcers on two different occasions. Dr Barbara works both from the Primrose Hill (once a week) and Winchmore practices and she has taken such wonderful care of him (and us!) She takes the time to explain everything very clearly and lets us be in the consultation room with him as much as possible to help with his stress. He’s all healed up now but we wouldn’t go to anyone else if the problem should recur. Alex who works on reception has been so helpful and friendly throughout the latest round of treatments too. Thank you team!

I was very happy with recent spay of my toy poodle. The operation went flawlessly and my dog came home as happy as she could considering the circumstances. I felt good, that I could always come to other Village Vet that is open 24/7 in case of emergency.

Couldn’t actually get to making an appointment for my puppy’s 10 week vaccinations as the male receptionist was so very snappy & uninformed, yet claimed to be an expert. Apparently they can get hold of any vaccination for the costly sum of £75. I find that hard to believe as every other Village Vet only stock Vanguard. If you’re looking for a friendly veterinary practice, look elsewhere. I think the receptionist would be much better suited to a NHS GP practice.
