Very disappointing, my cat was sent home with unexplained bleeding, after many hours of waiting, vet was unable to do blood test or take urine sample, this is second occasion this exact thing has happened, we were sent home without any treatment other than some tranquilizers, on previous visit she required a blood test and urine sample, vet after several hours could not achieve this, this shows very little care for an animal

Rude staff, extortionate prices, nightmarish service… you’d be better off taking your pet to the butchers.

Purely money orientated, it's utterly shameful. Extortionate prices for simple tests such as bloods and x-rays, and no sympathy for myself and my family when a beloved pet recently needed end of life care. Safe to say we won't be using Village Vet again, avoid.

This vet took advantage and over investigated my dog at a time when we were worried about her health. They have exercised incredibly poor clinical judgment and enjoyed lining their pockets! Be ware!!!

I've waited two months to post this as I didn't want to be emotional about my review. But now I feel I can be subjective. My cat became ill and in the 7 days I as seen by 4 different vets. One was great. The others young, inexperienced and awful. One was lucky not to be punched in the face such was his juvenile arrogance and insensitivity. After such poor and I'll informed advice we ended up at a specialist consultancy in Potters Bar who exposed in minutes how very poor Village Vet is. I can't express just how damaging these big vet companies are, charging a fortune for poor advice from junior idiots. Please avoid if you possibly can. And VV please don't reply claiming client confidentiality. As the owner of the pet exempt you from it.

I required an emergency travel document, and they scheduled an appointment and assisted me in less than three days. The receptionist and Allison, the OV vet, were both phenomenal. Allison even went to the vet on a day off to give me the certificate. Customer service was exceptional.
