Poor, travelled a long way to find all three ponds booked. Website said Hawk lake was available. Disgusting toilets and horrific tyre destroying journey in. Lots of more friendly venues locally Avoid

Really nice venue with plenty of space between pegs. First time there today and was mainly targeting tench. Plenty of small carp to go at and my biggest was around 7lb. No tench today but enjoyed it and caught well considering their still spawning. If you enjoy lots of fish on the bank then Viking is worth the visit. The road Dow there needs some attention full of large holes.

Visited last Sunday 26/2/23 there was a match on I walked around to see who was catching staying well away from any angler so as not to spook any fish , I fished there most weeks last year and always had a good day fishing. Anyway back to Sunday I was walking back to my car when the owners wife came out and asked what I wanted I explained I was just looking and seeing how the match was going for her to tell me the anglers wouldn't like it , strange as none of them said anything and I had been to watch many matches before and never been told it was a problem, maybe owners should make aware via Web site that members of the public aren't welcome on match days
