  Went through Groupon for my lazer eye surgery. I was incredibly nervous, the team were so understanding. It's so incredible to not need glasses anymore! Being able to buy whatever sunglasses I want without worrying about a prescription is just the best! Just wish I'd gone for it sooner Thanks Deepak x

  I have just been for my one year check-up appointment following my surgery (for contact lens implants). I have had better than 20/20 vision for 12 months, and I can honestly say that it has been life-changing. No more fumbling round in the dark to find glasses to walk to the bathroom, no more worrying about contact lenses coming out while swimming, playing sport, or riding rollercoasters! I was told by others that my prescription was too strong to even consider corrective surgery, but Viewpoint Vision found a way, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! I was operated on during the afternoon, home on the same day, and back in work after one full day off! The staff were wonderful.

  Bought LASIK eye treatment on Groupon from this clinic,for my husband, and thought the price was to good to be true.. and it absolutely was!! Would not recommend this to deal to anyone, they totally wasted our time. Before purchase I sent the consultant my husbands details and glasses prescription to check if he was suitable . He advised he would need to see him, but yes, from his prescription he was suitable. We bought the deal and went to the appointment. Straight away they said although he could have LASIK, lens replacement would be more suitable because of his age… at a cost of more than £5,000 more than we had paid for the Groupon deal. The consultant said he did not want to do LASIK on my husband as he would be ‘wasting his money, and it may only last 5-7 years’. He told us to think about it and gave us a pack to take away.. this only contained info on the dearer treatment. We rang the following day and said we had decided to go with there LASIK, understanding the risk of the time span it may last . We were advised my husband had to go back to the clinic for further tests. He did this, had one more ‘test’ and was told again they only wanted to do the dearer treatment and they did not want to do the treatment we had paid for, as it ‘May not’ last, so we had to either have the dearer treatment or have a refund. We eventually had a refund… as we lost all faith in this surgeon. They only advertise cheap deals to get you in for a consultation to sell you one 4 x the cost. They could have told us of his ‘unsuitability’ based on his age before we went for the consultation.. or even on the first visit.. but instead he had to go for 2 appointments to be advised he was suitable.. but … and then they wouldn’t do it… even thought he was suitable on paper. ABSOLUTE CON!!!!

  Both my husband and I have had lens replacement with Deepak. It was a short pain free procedure carried out in the most professional manor, we both have 20/20 vision, and cannot thank the gentleman enough, he is extremely supportive throughout and genuinely cares about his patients.   Recently had refractive lens replacement surgery and very pleased with the outcome. I had good sight for many years but age caught up and I went through readers, varifocal glasses then on to contact lenses. It is great now not to have any of that hassle particularly as I do a lot of sport. The consultation process is comprehensive and thorough. The procedure is manageable and the outcome was excellent for me. I have vision like I had in my youth, just need to change everything else. I should comment on the halos around car and street lights. It is a known effect of the lenses and was discussed during the consultation. It took a little time to get used to it. But is not a big issue for me and the positive outcome and benefits outweigh this minor issue.

  I had lens replacement surgery in October after wearing varifocal lenses for the past 10 years. From the first consultation with Mr Chitkara to being discharged from follow up I felt the service was very professional and caring. I am very pleased with the results and so glad I had the surgery.

  Just been signed off by Mr Chitkara. I had lens replacement surgery in December 2021. I was wearing several pairs of glasses. Age had made me long sighted so with reading glasses on I couldn’t see to drive or walk down the street, with no glasses I couldnt read labels, see my sat nav or even the controls on my car dashboard so was constantly moving glasses on and off . Varifocals were a nightmare and Deepak told me I had an astigmatism which I didn’t even know so varifocals wouldn’t be as effective. After the op (which was painless) I assumed I’d be up and about and able to see within days however I seem to be one of a small minority that needed further work. I had to have laser surgery to reshape my right eye and then further laser to remove scar tissue from both eyes. All of this has taken a year. My long vision is still not on point but it’s my brain needing to adjust and not my eyes. I now have better than 20/20 vision and can see the minutest details close up. I just want people to be aware it may take a while to perfect your sight so don’t worry if you can’t see perfectly straight away. Trust the process and trust Deepak. He was so patient and supportive with me as I had several melt downs worrying. I didn’t have to pay any further fees for additional treatment. I put my trust in Deepak and would definitely recommend him if you are thinking of having this procedure.

  Woman answering the phone is terrible. Awful manner about her. Shouts down the phone and sounds very aggressive. Kept repeating herself about money. All they clearly care about is money. Not the fact I am actually going through a bad time at the moment due to a previous surgery at another clinic and I would of liked a more compassionate understanding person rather than that horrible woman. I have found a clinic MORE UNDERSTANDING AND CARING.

  I opted for refractive lens replacement back in April 2021.The care and service was excellent as you will not see anyone else other than Deepak himself. The procedure and recovery are explained thoroughly before hand. My surgery was over in a flash and the results amazing. I was discharged after a couple of visits but was struggling with halos and night driving (Halos are one of the possible side effects) and he did not hesitate to see me again and he check me over. My vision which is better than 20/20 however it has just taken me a while to adjust to the lenses. No further work was needed but if I had needed any laser tweaks it was all covered and I’m sure he will see me again (no charge) if needed. Thank you for my vision, the reasoning, understanding and reassurance.

  I had implantable contact lenses (ICL) done by Deepak in Feb 2022. Deepak was able to fit me in quickly before I started my new job which was amazing. The whole procedure was done very quickly and the recovery was fabulous. I was out and about within a day or 2. My eyesight is now better than it ever was with contact lenses or glasses and I have absolutely no discomfort/dryness at all. I have forgotten I even had anything done to them. Couldn’t recommend this procedure with Deepak more!
