What a pleasant surprise. We found this place by accident and we don't regret this. Cook and water are Vietnamese, so you get proper food. The menu is small but still the choice is vast. We tried summer rolls and fried flat noodles which were amazing. Lot of Asian people visit this place and they look happy, it is a good indicator that the food is tasty. We will visit this place more often.

Authentic Vietnamese food in a casual dining space. Delicious beef phô, crunchy and light summer rolls for hot weather. A very welcome addition to Redcar! Prices are reasonable Unfortunately I've had to update my review. We came a second time and it was empty. We ordered a banh mi and some crispy spring rolls only to find we'd been given two lots of banh mi. When we took the order back shortly and explained that part of our order was wrong, the guy went to ask the chef and then they refused to change it, saying we had to pay extra if we wanted the spring rolls! There was also a hair in my banh mi to top this off. Viet bistro has lost what would of been loyal customers because of this incident
