I see this reviews before and I also suffer bad experience with this type of companies that just try to be smart on people that don't know. First whenever you rent anything and you had this experience go to the citizen advisors and ask them to contact to your Ombudsman. They will start the legal process and they could potentially push them to refund you the money on the best case... always contact them by email and take all pictures you can us soon you can. Be aware that this type of companies they make money this way and is very difficult to catch them because they usually make a company on the name of someone that is not on the country... like this it takes longer for them to close the place or for you to go to court. Good luck to all and if they are not scamers the citizens advisor with the ombudsman will let you know if the contract is legal and what you ask is right. ( for the reviews this do not look good) And if you think why they are not many reviews? Well... I will not review anyone that have my deposit if that make sense

I lived here for 14 months in the most premium flat that the building had to offer. Since moving out 6 weeks ago they have totally messed my deposit up by switching it into a different Tennants name who hasn’t responded to my requests to release it. They’ve taken the matter very lightly and have done very little to assist me getting £1150 back which I was rely on to move into my new property (which I since lost). On top of this… for the whole of December and January 2021/22 we had no running water approximately 2-3 days a week, I was going to work without a wash or a shower or even brushing my teeth until I got to work… not only did they refuse to offer us anything but they actively denied requests for compensation. The boiler also broke and destroyed lots of my storage cupboard (again, zero offer of compensation) not even an apology. Countless other issues, poor extraction fans meant that paint would continually fall off the ceilings and need to be cleaned up daily. Basically a great building and area but the management company Way Of Life are close to being crooks when it comes to protecting you in terms or living standards and finances. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Our time at Vida House has been very pleasant. The interior of the building was just renovated to a high standard, featuring brand-new, secure doors in the hallways and parcel lockers for convenient collection to name just a few improvements. Throughout our tenancy, we felt the building management kept us very well informed and also promptly responded to our queries. Both James and Aimee put an effort in to help us out whenever possible, which is particularly appreciated during the lockdown period. Generally, Vida House is extremely well located, with easy access to Surrey Quays, Canada Water and South Bermondsey Stations. A big Lidl is just a 3-minute walk away. We would recommend renting here to anyone who is interested in decent living and appreciates the proximity to Central London.

We rented an immaculate apartment in Vida House for a year.. sad that we have to relocate due to work! In comparison to previous experiences, we found the building very well run and the management company are very attentive. The block is safe, warm, has excellent transport links and is very well maintained. Highly recommend living here!

The flat is part of a secure building only accessible by electronic key fob or via the external intercom that is linked to each individual flat. It's is conveniently located with an overground station only five minutes away with good links to Central London. Everything you need is in the local area with a mix of both larger chain supermarkets and smaller independent stores right on the doorstep as well as a shopping centre within walking distance. Building managers James and Aimee are always on site to help with any queries and any day to day problems that occur are usually rectified inmediately. The interior of the flat is very spacious with an open plan kitchen/living room and there is additional storage throughout. Overall it is a great place to live and Way of Life have been incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.

I rented this place assuming that it would be a pleasant living experience. Unforrunately it turned out to be my biggest renting nightmare. Initially, I thought the occasional fighting neighbours, poorly fitted front doors, thin walls, bad plumbing, insect problems, or been given the wrong meter readings every time I request for an energy reading until I demand a photographic reading (they act like this never occurred, yet have emails to prove my case) my biggest worry. After informing the management of the issues in the building I started having problems with people hacking my laptop and mobile phone. After months of agony going through all the security measures, I started noticing that somebody has been entering the flat that I'm renting whenever I leave. I started putting invisible e traps to catch footprints other than mine. So, after seeing a print in the spray I left on the floor, I searched within my landline calls to see strange numbers. After seeing the evidence I knew I was not imagining things. Yet still no force of entry or missing things. After my cleaned devices being hacked again, I started connecting the dots where this was coming from, my router, which has the details on the back. I started hiding or taking my router with me. Just last week, I hid the router and had the cable loose on the floor when I left, when I got back the cable was plugged into the socket. I immediately called the police and the anti- fraud team. The management acts like nobody has the keys to my flat without their consent and notice to me. Yet, I have never lost a key in my life nor have given it to anybody to enter my flat. The situation of having somebody targeting me, spying on me has caused me so much stress and fear for my safety that I have decided to leave. If this manavement was without blame, they would have tried to release me, but instead trying to squeeze every penny out of me. It's really appalling what kind of treatment they can give to a paying tenant. Let alone if you would be in arrears with them. Mind you they lied about my referencing to force me to pay 6 months rent upfront. As we were in lockdown I had no choice to agree to extend the agreement for another six months, with a promised break clause what is now proving to be a scam. Be careful. The bad ratings on here are not without a cause.
