Brother was in there for about 10 months staff were more bothered about being on Facebook than looking after residents. CQC should look into this place. Never again

I was a member of staff at Victoria Park Care Home for a short amount of time and can honestly say all the residents are lovely, kind, caring, considerate and lovely to work with. The home follows strict Covid-19 regulations to ensure the risk of contracting Covid is kept to the bare minimum. Residents always have everything they need at all times and are well cared for. One thing that unsettles me, is the attitude some carers have towards the residents within their care, which may cause the resident's mental well-being to deteriorate. I have witnessed them shout in their faces, I have witnessed them talk about residents behind their backs and their is just a lot of impatience shown when tending to the resident's needs which is not reasonable behaviour to be displaying. Please take into consideration that although everything else is up to a high standard, the staff are the one's looking after your Mum, Dad, Nan or Great-Nan and you wouldn't want them to be treated in such a rude manner. I know I wouldn't. Staff need plenty of patience and they don't have it. (Not speaking about all staff).
