My Dad , Robert Hemingway was in Victoria House from April to December last year. The standard of care that Dad received was absolutely outstanding. All the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would say that Victoria House is a 4 star building that delivers 6 star care and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff there.

My mum came here to be assessed, unfortunately while there she deteriated and spent her end of life care here. The staff were amazing. Would hug, do my mums hair, spend time with her talking. When the kids came staff would get them drinks buns etc. They would offer me food and drinks so I would not miss the dreaded moment when my mum would pass away. I just want to thank all your staff they were amazing and I will for ever be grateful x

My dad had to go to this home after a brain injury, for the year he was there he was catching constant infections and having to go to hospital, was left in his bed when he wasn't having any visitors, he could walk and talk when he moved in now he's wheelchair bound, can hardly remember what day it is and is wearing a nappy full time and now has numerous bed sores , this culminated in him being recently sent to hospital and the home informing me they would not have him back, he has essentially been made homeless and is still sat in hospital 11 weeks later waiting on adult social care to find him somewhere to live, disgusting behaviour from the home think carefully about putting your loved ones in here, they have their favourites that they parade around like puppets on their facebook page and neglect everyone else, if i could give them o stars i would.

Visited this Care Home today. Witnessed really good care being delivered. The decor was lovely and I was really surprised with the standard of some of the bedrooms - wasn't expecting it to be so nice!
