This course is great for anyone from a total novice to someone who already has experience. Victoria delivers the content of this course in a way that sets you up to succeed—as long as you put in the work. She is inspiring, she knows how to teach in a very clear directional way, she knows her subject, and she cares about the success of everyone who joins. I finished the course absolutely delighted, I really can’t recommend this course enough.

I cannot recommend the courses enough. I had been considering further training as I had already been making some soft furnishings, and I am so glad I chose this one! Even if you have previous experience, Victoria has such a wealth of knowledge, tools and techniques that expand your skills and confidence. You can't beat the hands-on workshops in a creative, inspiring environment. Meeting some likeminded passionate sewers was such a bonus - exchanging ideas and experiences. I know I will be using my new found skills for years to come.

I cannot rate this course highly enough. It was such a privilege to learn such a beautiful and traditional skill in the most professional and creative environment. Victoria is an extremely skilled teacher. Being a complete beginner at sewing i was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to keep up but through thorough demonstrations and practise with amazing guidance and patience I managed to accomplish more than I ever thought possible. I walked away on the final day knowing that my life was going to change and with the confidence of a completely new skill under my belt. Missing the wonderfully inspiring setting already and can’t wait to return in May for Course TWO and THREE. After the last week I really feel like the sky’s the limit! Thank you again!

Having completed Course 1 with Victoria I can absolutely recommend it! The teaching and content was excellent, and delivered very professionally by Victoria. There is a lot of detail on all aspects of not only the process of making the curtains and blinds but also the business aspects as well. Being just after the lockdown restrictions were eased Victoria had done everything to ensure that everyone felt safe and comfortable in the workroom and all the social distancing was adhered to. It was very well thought out to ensure we all had our own space and tools/equipment for the week. I am looking forward to returning and completing a course not in a heatwave!!

The best teaching you will ever receive. I spent about a month at Victoria Hammond Interiors. I took Course 1, 2 and 3, Cushions, Professional Fitting and I will be returning for Traditional Lampshade Making and Interior Design. Victoria has a wealth of knowledge, that she has acquired through her own tried and tested methods. She happily shares and teaches everything she knows to ensure that you leave her courses with confidence. Her forum is super helpful after you’ve finished the course should you have any outstanding questions; on here she personally replies and so do other makers who have studied under her, which really helps you gain lots of perspectives on your queries. I highly recommend each and every course, they are really inspiring and worth every penny. If you are a beginner no need to fear and if you need a refresher it’s really lovely to take the time out for yourself and treat the course like a mini holiday!
