My partner has been waiting 19 days for a prescription. He was out of ADHD medication almost 2 weeks ago. They don't care that he has run out nor try to bother to sort the issue quickly. They say their wait time is 10 days for a prescription. This doctor's surgery is also always shut, whether it was for COVID, strep A (throughout winter), or doctors training (this month), I'm still waiting for a cervical screening that they cancelled back in November last year when I was told they will give me a new date. There's 2 other surgeries in Shirley, go with them. Skip this abomination of a surgery.

Rang this morning to try for an appointment but there were “over30” in front of me. Tried this afternoon, waited 40 minutes of hanging on & after eventually getting through I was told you MUST only ring at 8am, no other time. A complete waste of my time, not mentioned this on website

Horrible treatment. Very unprofessional. I’ve been waiting for an appointment for months with serious issues and when I came there she kept me standing up, asked me irrelevant questions and then I left… she wasn’t treating me professionally or anything close to decent.. I’m paying taxes for nothing, besides I have to pay a private specialist as they are incapable of providing the services they gets paid for.

I'm surprised she's not been sacked after all the reviews on here. "It's the NHS, darlin' what do you expect?!" Is her disgusting reply when she won't give you an appointment and slams down the phone on you!! Disgusting!!!!

I called this morning and spoke to Jade about a prescription query and she told me all the information I needed and what she was going to do, which meant speaking with the doctor. Happy with everything she told me this morning, I then received a call back from Jade saying that she had done everything she needed to do and gave me a bit of advice about future repeat prescriptions. Thank you

I thought I’m the only one having a bad experience with this surgery,but unfortunately I’m not. I haven’t been able to make face to face appointment with GP for a few years.Very rude receptionists who lack compassion,empathy and kindness required if you want to work in a healthcare.Many times they made me cry,feeling worthless after talking with them on the phone.On the other side there are great doctors like dr Tongue who is not only an amazing specialist but also an empathetic and respectful human being.
