I completed a small area laser session here, I chose it because it was soprano laser. The salon is a basic- level salon. I only went to 3 of my 5 sessions as the location isn’t great with parking and getting into the centre is so difficult. I saw a bit of a result and will continue at another more conveniently located place. This place is really nice and friendly and it’s to be expected that they will push add-on services! They are a business. I just told them at this point in time I wasn’t looking for anything else and they were fine about it.

Purposely use low settings for laser and rush through treatments so you need more sessions. Also in each session prepare to be pressured in to buying more treatments and sessions! Waste of money avoid.

Being a male customer for Facial Hair removal is not common. Therefore, I was very reluctant to do in start. But to my surprise results were very promissing. Had a gift voucher. I would not be able to attend the appointment after consulting procedure to gp, so I let them know well ahead. They did not want to refund the voucher, but to give products instead which I was not interested in. I did not register to email updates either and keep receiving them. I ended up with nothing. Not a happy experience.

AVOID! I received as a present from my partner and they are extremely pushy with add on sales saying "you will need all these extra treatments" etc. I was naive and purchased extra sessions (£300!) that is not good value. I do not want the sessions so asked for a refund which they refused. I think they also do a shoddy job on purpose so that you HAVE to keep going back for more sessions when my friends have gone to other clinics and this is not the case. I have seen no improvement at all. Also they have terrible communication I have contacted three times about my appointments and they have just ignored me.

I have had a course of 11 out if 12 sessions of laser hair removal at Manchester branch of VG medi. Despite me saying that I did not think it was working, I was told by Dee that I needed a third course (another 6 sessions) and I felt I was pressurised with all the sales talk to buy it in advance of the treatment. So a month later I completed my 12th session and was booked to have my 1st session out of 6. I then had to have surgery due to an unrelated condition and came in before my surgery to VG salon in Manchester asking for a refund to the 6 sessions because I would be immobile for 3 months so could not come for treatment. Guess what I was told. That because 14 days have passed since I paid (forced to pay in advance more like!), they cannot refund the money! They said, contact customer services by email, they could help to resolve the issue because clearly I had exceptional circumstances. So I emailed the customer services. Even attached confirmation of my surgery from my surgeon. Then emailed again. Then again. NO response, NO acknowledgement. NO communication whatsoever. They owe me 500+ for the treatment I have not had and do not even bother to acknowledge a complaint! AVOID THIS PLACE as they will keep your money and blank you out if you have any issues with the treatment.
