    i work VGC on HS2 in birmingham and i left the job because first thing when you ring you labour manager for ask something he never pick your phone always in meeting even if you text him no reply only he ring you when they looking for someone like groundworker or concreter or 360 driver , fixer , chippy etc once i ring one of big boss on hs2 north ask him how they for night shift on HS2 for weekend because other agency they pay double for sunday day or night what vgc PAY us time half i just ask why vgc pay time & half he said to if you wanna work then come otherwise i dont care why this behavier

    Worked for VGC for 6 months, earned them inordinate amounts of money, I worked 70 hours a week most weeks, helped insure their client met crucial deadlines. I left today, mid day due to a problem with management, Will had confirmed my hours earlier this week, also confirmed I would be paid this week- Paying time comes, surprise, surprise for the first time in 6 months I’ve not been paid. It’s unfair.

    Absolutely disgusting!!! They are grinding something at 11.30 at night..they have been moving building stuff with a fork lift truck there is loads of noise and it's horrendous!!! They are talking and laughing loud.We can't sleep. people are in bed... station street opposite the comfort inn.. working this time of the night is against the law noise pollution!!! Surely as a company you should have your workmen/ staff know this!!! We have spent alot of money with this hotel for you as a company to send your lads out working this time of night. Our time away is ruined disgusting!! .
