Cost a fortune for some eye drops for infection. We then joined a local independent vet who told us some problems that vets 4 pets didn’t pick up on, one of the problems being in the eye! Large companies only care about the money, always go to small independent vets where possible. It was such a different, more positive experience with the independent one.

I needed my pet mouse urgently putting to sleep. I am registered at this vets. First I was told they were too busy and could not fit me in. Then when I said it would take literally 2 minutes, I was told Marina the vet was allergic to mice! Long gone are the days when vets actually cared about the welfare of the pets, now it is all about the money 💰...Terrible, luckily another vet practice was sympathetic to the plight of the animal

With The Oak Veterinary Practice closed, sadly this is the only vet practise Hertford is stucked with. I believe they do a decent job when it comes to taking care of dogs, however, they are incredibly rude and unpolite. We have an unordinary situation as part of our vaccines are from another country and they refused even an apointment. And to my question - wouldn't it be harmful for the dog to give an extra vaccination just for the sake of right documentation, the receptionist said that she can't answer that, but no, they will not spoil an appoitnment to see to this situation and find the right solution. Morever, I came to this practice in October with a question - can they please check if all the documents needed for travelling are in place, the receptionist took our pasports to the vet and said that yes, everything is ok, come in December just for a regular health check. And now we are here, week before travelling with a clear answer that no, we will not help you. Just don't go home for Chrismtas. I will learn to understand the vaccine codes myself, as clearly we cannot trust that vets will help us there. Very, very sad and disappointing.
