My review is based on my 1st visit Sunday 7th May. I was on holiday and my daughter was looking after my 13 year old healthy cat. I suspected a stroke and discussed this on the phone. My daughter took him in and was misdiagnosed with Arthritis in back legs, given Metacam and gabepentin. His symptoms worsened on Monday and I took him in. He had fluid on his lungs and heart had a murmer. He was struggling to breathe. 3-6 months left to live so we made the decision to put him down. I’m heartbroken and the Monday vet was great. However on checking on medication, gabepentin and Metacam worsen heart issues. He had an operation in November 2022. I called my usual vet and he had no heart issues present at that time. I’ve made a complaint against the first vet who misdiagnosed and may have worsened my cats health. I am heartbroken

They looked after my dog efficiently during the night. I was told to admit him there at 7.00 - 7.30.. They took a long time doing their change over from day staff to emergency staff. It was quite stressful as we had a long wait until he was admitted for the night. I don’t know if this is usual practice or a one off. It was at least an hours waiting. My dog was in pain and needed attention. He was well looked after once admitted.
