An Insensitive company devoid of Empathy or Humanity! We recently lost our pet, a horrible enough situation without Vets Now piling on additional stress by texting us every second day to remind us that a balance is due, or to fill out a feedback survey. We handed over our insurance documents as soon as we arrived and still paid a £350 deposit. We paid a fee for vets now to handle the claim process for us, and still I am receiving texts chasing payment, from one day after the visit up until now, days after the claim has been paid out by the insurance company. Their customer support team are never reachable on the phone, the line just rings forever and when you are finally lucky enough to get through, you are told there is nothing that can be done and you just have to accept the constant reminder of your loss in the form of caveated passive aggressive text messages demanding they get their princely sum immediately.

Scam company wanting £25 for administration even though I filled out all and completed the claims form myself. Never use this company again, so far no satisfactory resolution. Will be making a complaint to the ombudsman..

This company is only focused on one thing "MONEY". Customer service and communication is appalling. They are clearly making a lot of money with their excessive vet fees so my advice to them would be spend it on training your staff in customer service. I will certainly not use these vet practices in the future.

Absolutely terrible organisation to deal with. 14 days to allocate funds to an account, still not received my deposit 10 days after the insurance has paid them. Complaints are not logged & emails are not replied to. I will add, that the actual veterinary care was excellent.

Had a very sympathetic and professional consultation today from Laura, concerning my much-loved greyhound Bruno. It resulted in booking an emergency appointment with my own vet. This video consultation service is a valuable addition to my local vet surgery, and they refund the £24 video consultation fee when you book a vet appointment on the same day. Delighted.

As all the existing reviews for this company have been removed for some reason I'm reposting my previous review so that potential customers know what to expect based on my experience at their Kirkcaldy practice. I shall also state that they tried to have my wholly accurate review removed from Trustpilot (unsuccessfully) and had my account suspended on LinkedIn (subsequently reinstated) when I also made wholly factual statements... This company is a money generating machine praying on unsuspecting pet owners requiring emergency care. I won't bore you with the full story as it ended up being a 7 month saga of belligerence but some low points include: 1. £160 initial consultation fee on a Sunday afternoon as it's "out of hours' (normally £36) 2. Unnecessary procedures designed to increase overall costs 3. Recommendations for treatment not supported by the Vet's own notes 4. "Client Care" that treats customers like fools (we're not) Within 7 hours of being admitted my cat was apparently at risk of imminent heart failure. In fact she was constipated. Total bill... £730. My advice, if your Vet uses this company for it's out-of-hours service find another practice that doesn't. This company is proliferating across the country with monopolies in some towns so go check now before you have no choice. This location is their HQ site where their "client care" is based. In Vets Now terms client care means waiting a month for a reply to any communication only to be told they totally disagree with any issues raised. If you're in the Fife area transfer your pets from any practice that uses Vets Now for emergency cover. I have found Inglis Vets to offer excellent and very cost effective emergency cover. You have been warned!
