If you ever wondered what your parents and grandparents meant in praising shopkeepers back in the good old days (and cursing today's shops) then you need to try DROP. The director Edward guarantees a personal consultation, including a home visit if requested. He does not try to push unnecessary items, but instead recommends several options and explains the differences among them, taking the surroundings of each room into account, so you can make an informed choice. We needed extensive work done as we had just moved into a new home. On our non-standard back door Edward went to great lengths to locate stock that was not readily available on the market, yet without charging a high price. When one or two (very minor) difficulties later arose he made an immediate appointment and performed all necessary adjustments at no charge. A few years later he remembered our home and carried out further work, once again to the highest standard, always with exceptional friendliness, helpfulness, and professionalism. This is old-fashioned service in the best sense of the word. Highly recommended on all counts.
