Apart from the horrible contaminated lake that's full of all sorts of nasty bacteria especially in the summer! It should be the jewel in the crown of st.albans district council! But instead it's deadly mud hole full of toxic bacteria the council should be ashamed but I'm told the top bods don't live in St.Albans! that would explain it!!! I used to have a dog I would never let him get anywhere near the lake! Such a shame.

The river Ver runs alongside the path through the park, perfect spot over the bridge to watch the geese and ducks. There is a play area in the middle. It's a pleasant walk across to the Roman museums.
