I took my motorcycle in for servicing (its 2 years old). It was bought and only ever serviced at Jefferies Rotherham who is now Vertu Motorrad. Its the first time I've used Vertu motorrad, all the show room staff are friendly and happy to help, nice customer waiting area with decent coffee. After been told they were having trouble lining the engine mount bolts up, after removing them to check the valve clearances due to having crash bars fitted, I was surprised to be told on paying the bill that there was an advisory on the brake fluid been dark/discoloured and they recommended it been changed at the next service. The motorcycle was serviced and the Brake fluid was changed at the last sevice less than 12month/2000 miles ago by them? On getting home I read the motorcycle health check sheet and was amazed to read that they had put an advisory on the condition of the brake fluid and then put at the side of the advisory that the customer had declined it been changed. They never even asked me if I wanted the brake fluid changing, so how could I decline? Shouldn't brake fluid be checked via moisture content not what colour it is? On ringing Vertu Motorrad Rotherham I was told it's just standard policy? I asked if the brake fluid moisture content had been checked and didn't get an answer, Just to make a bad situation worse, the engine bar had been marked as well. Vertu motorrad have since contacted me offering to change the brake fluid,and apologised for the mix up, Andy Forest seems a decent guy and was really helpful thanks. Rotherham Bmw have always been great to deal with, from it been Rainbow then Jefferies so hopefully Vertu Motorrad will prove to be just as good 👍

Great selection of new & used BMW motorcycles, full range of clothing also available in store alongside the usual accessories to adorn your bikes with.. Service department has always been great and they do a mean valeting job with full acf 50 treatment.. Had a choice of demonstrator bikes to choose from whilst mine was being serviced..

Bike in yesterday for software update and starting issue. Guys at Vertu pulled all the stops out to sort issues. Eventually loaned me a bike as software update became a full update. Phone call next morning , bike done and new battery under warranty , brilliant service by Andy and the team as usual.
