We engaged Vertex to repair our washer/dryer. They told us it would be a major repair, but would be covered under warranty. We paid more than £200 for the repair, but within a few months the machine broke with the same problem. After repeated calls which went unanswered, they finally came and took the machine away, saying they were waiting for a special part to arrive. Meanwhile they loaned us a washer only machine - which is not what we want. it has now been nearly a year and we still do not have our washer dryer, and nor can i get anyone to return our calls. They came to inspect my oven and quoted £150 for parts and the visit. I paid it off via bank transfer but they never showed up to complete the repair. Don't bother trying to call them or email because they will ingore you unless you are a new customer/victim. Scam! Tip: If you want to get through to them, use a different phone number so they don't recognise you and select 'new repair' in the option menu.
