Clint and Mark were both very accessible and pro-active during the sale of my property. I had several offers put forward during my time using Veritas. I had previously used Purple Bricks who had to refund all my money back when I provided evidence to the Purple Bricks ceo that their agents were avoiding carrying out viewings on my property after I discovered the Purple Bricks viewing calendar was set for viewings after 8pm only for the entire peak months of June to October. I then used another mainstream estate agent after who started off keen but then went quiet after just a few weeks. I then switched to Veritas after recommedation from a friend who had sold a property quickly with them. I accepted my first offer after just 2 weeks with Veritas and it almost got to completion after 3months of conveyancing. Clint and Mark remained keen and interested in getting another sale despite the first sale not completing (no fault of Veritas). I then went on to have 3 more very good offers (4 in total) with Veritas within a short time and eventually got to a completion with a successful sale.

I'm not on to usually leave reviews but when customer service is as shocking as what we received at Veritas, I had too. When I phoned to view a property I was told I'd get an appointment and that someone would get back to me with a suitable time. When hearing nothing later that day I phone again and then twice throughout the following 2 days hearing the same thing, when I finally called again they told me that all the slots had gone as I "hadn't phoned soon enough." It was only when my partner phoned that they finally gave us an appointment, but whilst on the phone they told us "you won't like the property, it needs a lot of work doing" surely that's for us to decide? They also told my partner that it was my fault for not answering the phone even though I had no missed calls, this was after they'd argued and insisted that they'd rang. When actually viewing the property we were left to our own devices and barely spoken too, they then mentioned to us that the property was on the market for too much and asked us what we'd pay for it. As a buyer or a seller I don't think Veritas makes you as a customer feel a priority.

Just another dodgy estate agents. They don’t pick up the phone. One house went on Rightmove for a day and you can’t even get in for a viewing. Apparently there’s no viewings left. The next day the listing is mysteriously removed. Absolute nonsense. How about they already know who they’re selling it to. Dodgy dealings. Sad that the property owners are not getting the most money for their houses being sold as long as the estate agent is benefitting, that’s fine. Property owners take note!
