I was unfortunately slightly late for a surprise private birthday celebration at Verdigris in Tonbridge, so I missed the ‘surprise’ part. Nevertheless, I can confidently say that a great time was had by all that night. Verdigris occupies a fine old building in the old part of Tonbridge High Street, where the road crosses the river Medway. The friendly staff are a credit to the front of house manager Joel, who made sure that the evening went well – and who was even spotted on the dancefloor later in the evening! I didn’t get the chance to sample the menu although I am sure that we will be back again to do so in the near future. Huge thanks to everyone at Verdigris for ensuring that the evening went so well.
