If this company's drivers are an indication of there standard of work then leave well alone. One of their drivers nearly ran me off the M6 at junction 30, Preston, after undertaking me and pulling in front of me causing me to brake hard and affecting all those behind me. Shame on Vent Engineering for employing people with such shameful and poor regard for other peoples safety on the public roads - makes you wonder about having this type of contractor on your site!

Vent engineering are an absolutely terrible company to deal with. I have to date spent over £3,500.00 purchasing AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents) for construction projects with a vast number planned for the future yet despite Vent Engineering being paid promptly and in full, they have consistently failed across the board in advising on the correct items to be purchased, any form of customer service, delivering items in full to complete orders and also in failing to provide the items when advised they are missing. In my most recent order as I have done with all orders previously I have rung Vent's team with a full specification of what is required and they have provided me with orders accordingly. Firstly I have been misadvised by their team resulting in me having to return the item to them at my expense as well as being informed there would be a re-stocking charge despite it being their fault. From there I re-ordered the correct AOV actuator arm which has arrived without a Quasar bracket to affix it to the very window it is supposed to be opening and so the item is incomplete and cannot be fitted. After speaking with Vent's horrendously unhelpful team and being advised in writing that they would send out the item to me on 15/12/16, I rang this morning and they have refused to send out the item. On top of this the actuator panel which provides the power is missing its back up batteries that never came with the order and I have been told that I will not receive the item as I have 'left it too late' to inform them. It is also worth mentioning that I had to phone to order a smoke detector head because the advisor whom advised me on exactly the items I would require to form the AOV system forgot to mention that I would require a detector head to go with the AOV. On top of that the manager whom is never available has reneged on sending the vital part of the Quasar arm I purchased so it renders it totally useless thus meaning the building is not compliant and therefore stopping us being able to have our clients building signed off. We will now be dedicating considerable resource to ensuring people are aware of the poor service Vent offers as well as pursuing the company for what should have been sent in the first place. To conclude I would say that this disgraceful excuse for a company should be avoided at all cost as they send incomplete orders and refuse to provide you with the missing items when prompted.
