Beautiful cakes. Great idea for takeout too. It was an amazing dessert for a takeout for a meal at home with family from Norway. Dee’s scones were a perfect showcase of British treats! And the Victoria sponge was fantastic! We should have skipped the mains and gone straight for the cakes!!!

We went here for breakfast while passing by on our boat. The award must definitely goes to these guys for the best breakfast ever. Let me assure you, I do not give praise easily when I eat out, as mostly I can make better at home. This little place not only has absolutely great food but the team go above and beyond, giving you a very warm friendly welcome with brilliant service with a smile. What is more they have a book swap corner, what more could one want. A truly excellent experience. Thank you so much. Oh and not to mention about 10 cyclists came in too, all were served promptly with breakfasts with a smile. Dogs welcome too. Amazing, full marks. Thank you. 🙂

I was fully satisfied with what I had to eat in there being leek and potato soup with bread and butter, and a drink of coffee latte, the staff in there make it ever so welcoming For everyone ☺️ Kid-friendliness: When you take your child into the cafe there is childrens colouring books for them to entertain themselves with.
