    Total amateurs. I’ve had better service and more knowledgable staff in Halfords. I needed a set of brake and shift cables to build up a bike - basic bike shop stuff. The guy kept disappearing into the back for 10 minutes and coming out with a single item at a time. Literally had to tell him every item one by one i.e. inner, outer, gear, brake, ferrules, noodle etc. Took the best part of 40 minutes to get it all together at which point he apologised as it was going to take him “a while to ring up such a big order”. I also picked up a front rack while I was waiting and the manager of the store proceeded to try and charge me double the rrp for it. A sad excuse for a bike shop.

    Needed a new bike due to mine being vandalised in botched theft. Had nothing but the very best of advice and service from Daniel ( Hackney Velorution ) who found the bike he thought would most suit my needs. He Then put me in touch with Roger and Marvin at Islington Velorution who tweaked the bike to my needs and I was done and on my way in 40 mins .

    Stupidly managed to totally jam my bike chain between two of my front gear wheels. Adam and Daniel were in the shop this morning. Daniel ended up having to take a link out of the chain and just yank it free, but all done on the spot and for free - amazing service, thank you.
