Everything was delicious. In the region of the u.s. that we are from, Southern Indian is not as prominent as the northern cruisines. VEL's menu was fun to explore with its regional recipes. We tried familiar curries as well as some dishes we never knew about. Some of the best Indian that we have had. Even the garlic Naan was one of the best. Our server was also fantastic. The most attentive server we have had in years and truly made a special effort to make sure we enjoyed everything. Be aware that he is also a great salesman and will tempt you to order more, but since everything he sincerely suggested enhanced our enjoyment, we found nothing wrong with that. The menu was large, a little confusing, but mainly because of different regional spellings and terms than what we were not familiar with. It was clearly defined for vegetarian and vegan options.

We had buffet on Sunday its was 8.99 unlimited South Indian dishes. Worth for money. Sambar and Vandakkai Moore kulumbu was awesome but missed proper hot side dish and pickle to accompany it. We got ivyguard fry as side dish it was less spicy to go with sambar. Next is chicken biryani 🤤 and chicken lollipop both awesome 👍. I was expecting payasam or kesari. Didn't like akkaravadisal sweet maybe it was not my choice 😔. Finally, buttermilk was good too... I had two cup. 😁 Parking: Free parking is available check with crew members.

2nd review following today’s buffet lunch (30/4/23). Shame I had to change my 5 star to 1 star from my previous feedback. I’m writing with great disappointment as there were no non-veg varieties. Only 2 chicken menu that too less quantity which got finished by the people standing in the front . The refill of all the dishes including white rice took ages. You either had to stand and eat to grab the dishes or give up and eat only veg varieties. Again the taste wasn’t best . No salt in basic sambar dish . Although the gentleman in the till offered discount for my genuine feedback, we paid in full as this feedback is for improvement of service and business not for price reduction. (Previous review based on food ordered -in picture )I have visited the place before, probably about 2 years back . Then I visited this restaurant today for lunch with my parents . It is under the new management and the food was amazing. Close to authentic South Indian home made food. The customer service was great especially a friendly chat with Vignesh and Chef Dharma. A lovely lady who served the food was so friendly and caring . Would definitely recommend this time.

Had tried home delivery couple of times..it was good , but last night we had dine in , was quite a disappointing experience.we ordered food around 7.15 pmand got food around 8.30 pm..too much waiting time..food was not prepared well.soggy ,no salt. Waste of time n money. Don't recommend. Especially with kids.
