I did the (intensive) one-week course in Veggie & vegan cooking last week. It´s well worth it. A lot of recipes and techniques that I am looking forward to practicing many of the new (to me) recipes. I´d recommend it.

Had a creat day cooking with Lajina, doing the vegetarian street food course. Enjoyed cooking with a partner, as this encouraged communication and learning how others cook. Would recommend this course. Wasn't keen on having to wear a mask for the whole day but needs must.

Fabulous place, just had 2 days at the cookery school! And Lyn our teacher was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable! I’ve learned loads and had a fantastic time ! What a great stress reliever! Takes your mind away from the day to day stresses of life as your so focused on your cooking! Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend for everyone! Even you carnivores!

I attended the Vegan Junk Food lesson.. I learnt about the tutor, her volunteering, her career, her aspirations, her new ventures into the world of cricket, her poor eyesight and how wonderful she thought she presented food. I didn’t learn how to purchase many of the ingredients used or what was in many of the products used... because apparently as an accredited organisation they don’t need to tell us the ingredients or where to purchase. We didn’t even see the recipe for vegan cheese sauce and were promised copies of all the recipes by email? Very disorganised.. we ran out of tahini.. only to find it all measured out and the tutor forgot. We ate uncooked chips, because the tutor burnt the first batch. On top of that I felt ill because I along with the other 8 people attending were so cold all day! A very disappointing experience all in all.
