Used to be a regular at Tykes restaurant but it’s changed now. The quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere is not what it was. The prices are higher too. The change appears to coincide with the venue now being primarily a wedding venue and hotel. Sadly the restaurant will no longer attract me and the family from York.

Rooms: Stunning. The décor and practicality. The bed is soooo comfy. The bathroom was beautiful. Food & drinks: Afternoon tea was delicious, breakfast was amazing, Tykes was lovely for the evening meal too. Noteworthy details: Staff were so friendly, such a beautiful venue with a relaxed vibe and the grounds are beautiful.
