    Staff spend a lot of time hanging around smoking cigarettes on the pavement which is a nuisance not to mention unprofessional and seems sort of at odds with a bicycle brand

    My bike, which is one day old, does not work. Its totally dead. I cannot return it because they say (erroneously on their MyVanmoof portal) that the bike is more than 14 days old. I was able to secure an appointment in 4 weeks at the London store. 4 weeks!! Shambles. I will have to rent a van to bring the bike in for repair as the wheel is locked so cannot roll it. All this, after a 10 month wait (which was originally communicated as 3). DO NOT BUY A VANMOOF. They are the worst company I have ever come across. I was warned by so many people, but fell for their excellent marketing. That is the only thing they do well. Please do not buy from them. This business deserves to fail.

    I am only writing this review now as there doesn’t seem to be any other way of getting a response or acknowledgement from anyone in the VanMoof team. I purchased my bike in May last year. Within a year it has had to go back to the shop for repairs for 3 different electrical and mechanical failures the most recent of which was a complete battery failure. I dropped my bike off on Sunday 14th May and as yet haven’t even had acknowledgment that anyone in their senior team is even aware of the issue. I have expressed, in person at the store in Battersea, and via email, my disappointment and discontent with the product and have requested either an exchange for an equivalent product that works as designed or a refund for what has been a completely subpar product, littered with deficiencies. Can someone please get back to me with an appropriate resolution.

    The woman at the front desk is rude and too laid back. When you pay 1000s for a bike, good customer service is the least you can expect. Very disappointed.

    Listen.. first and foremost this bike is a game changer.. it’s basically like having a car in london without the parking and petrol costs. I rarely get public transport anymore and the experience vs pedalling a non electric bike is non-comparable. I’m a big fan of my S3 and it has served me well so far - 1000+ KM. Now let’s talk service - the team at Battersea are honestly superb and are always willing to go above and beyond to help. When I have had an issue and I’ll be clear they do arise from time to time -they identify and resolve the problem as quickly as they can. They gave me a loan bike recently to stay on the road when mine was out of action, good service. A lot of the negative reviews around service often involves people not realising they should ask for the London store contact directly and get in touch that way, otherwise you’ll be waiting for a response from Amsterdam HQ hence the delay. Shoutout to Joe in the repairs team who always sorts my bike out with the quickness when needed, but equally I’ve had such great interactions with all of the Vanmoof Battersea team. Big fan and long may they continue to make great bikes!

    I had a great experience with the staff at Battersea, I took my bike in for a quick look at a loose mudguard. They ended up replacing my front forks and did it in rapid time. I was in the area and live about a 4 hour round trip away. They went above and beyond to get me sorted. They don't always have the best reputation for service, in my case I've received nothing but great service.

    I couldn’t be more disappointed with Vanmoof. After waiting for months for my bike it was stolen in less than 2 weeks. The replacement bike was broken on arrival. Weeks later and I still haven’t had a resolution from multiple attempts on their chat / DM support. I feel let down and like I’ve been in a heist. Vanmoof has made no attempt to contact me and I’m stuck with a locked dead bike in my house. Please don’t leave a generic response, it’s offensive, I’ve contacted support on many occasions.
