If you are not white, blonde and look like you’re auditioning for TOWIE then avoid this dreadful place at all costs. Their Instagram feed alone will show you their narrow customer preference and if you don’t fit in with it, get ready for the worst customer service you’ve ever experienced. The older one, I think her name was Ruth (several reviews have been written about her racism already) was incredibly rude from the second I walked in, I should have left immediately but I gave her a chance. She called me unrealistic and berated me for wanting highlights on my dark hair (I now have them because I went to a competent salon immediately after I left) She then hacked off way too much of my hair for a “strand test” claiming “no other salon would do this” - even though it’s standard practice in most if not every salon to strand test before applying bleach. She called over her colleague, whose attitude was somehow worse, for no reason other than to berate me further. The best part is, after chopping off my hair she didn’t even contact me with the strand test results! They have a bad reputation among hair stylists in the area because of their awful attitude and customer service. They’re also hilariously overpriced so yourself a favour and avoid!

Absolutely awful service, I would strongly recommend to avoid at all cost. One woman middle aged and blonde in particular. She was one whole hour late to begin my appointment during this time not once did she acknowledge my presence or apologise. I had no consultation on the day of what I’d like and she proceeded to mix a color and apply without checking with me. I asked to not have black dye specifically. After 40 mins my hair was jet black I asked for a brown. I cried my eyes and they tried to rectify it but I left with a sore scalp and brassy red toned hair. This lady is racist and to think in 2023 in a diverse community I found this disgusting to experience as a south Asian. Service: Balayage

Had my nails done by kirby, started the process of builder gels nails back in April , and honestly never had long nails throughout my life and they have grown so so much in just a few appointments , all the staff are always friendly and polite and Kirby is a amazing member of staff here so so lovely and always does my nails amazing , her design skills are amazing and she always makes sure I’m 100% happy with them , could recommend this place enough ☺️

I went in to ask for their services/consultation. The lady who’s blonde and older was really dismissive and rude at the door. Told me that they don’t deal with African/Jamaican hair. When I told the lady that it will not be on African/Jamaican hair but the type of hair she’s used to handling, she still denied me service and told me to go look on YouTube and that her time and service aren’t free. I was completely shocked by how she treated me as if I were less than, as I never requested free service. I am really disappointed by how quick she were to judge me by my skin colour. If you don’t accept racism or is a person of colour, i.e. anything other than a fair skin toned individual. Don’t even consider going there. You’ll get a much better service else where.
