  I had almost my whole house fitted with carpet and laminate from Value Floors back in December, and they did a fantastic job. Maz was very helpful and worked with my budget, the price was incredibly reasonable. When the fitters came they did a brilliant job and were so professional. Will be getting another room done as soon as I’m able to!

  After speaking to Trevor (who actually was nice) over the phone and exchanging emails, on laminate quotes etc, I decided to go to the shop to make the order with my family. When I arrived that Saturday the owner and his assistant were extremely rude when responding to my questions. The owner didn't even make eye contact and acted very patronising when I was asking questions about waterproof laminates, I found the whole experience frustrating as I really wanted to make an order that day... The assistant, another mature Indian man with long hair was also being rude and furthermore unfriendly towards my 3 years old daughter...I seriously believe this person needs to take some classes in customer service and learn some basic manners If the owners are after certain cliental, they should move back to Smethwick or Handsworth maybe, I don't know Very disappointed in the whole experience as I wanted to make the laminate order Normally people remember the good places and return but with bad experiences, as humans we can’t help it, we complain….it’s in most of us….if you don’t hear from us it’s generally a good thing!! So no not a serial 1 star giver, again just an example of your personality which I saw on the day I came in….reminder I had no issues with Trevor just the two men in the shop I mentioned!!

  Excellent overall service. After i made the online purchase i was then sent an email confirming the order. Then i emailed to ask when i would expect delivery, i had a immediate reply from Trevor to let me know delivery date and it was exactly to the date. Very highly recommended and i will definitely be going to purchase again soon.

  Enquired about laminate flooring, took over 2 weeks to get back in touch, which they apologised for due to sicknesses. Called up 3 times, and person over the phone was extremely useless and rude. Kept giving contradictory instructions, said I needed to email for them to quote, explained I had, then got all defensive. Finally got quotes for fitting in Sutton Coldfield, which were great value. Called up, said I was happy with quoted and was told fitter would give a call to book for measurements again. 5 days later, not heard anything so called back, person on phone again extremely rude said he can't control when they would get in touch and that he doesn't deal with dealers. He sensed I was unhappy with response and then said, "what's your name and postcode again?", I responded and then immediately he said fitters got in touch and said couldn't come out to us as we are too far away! Miraculous how he suddenly remembered us and he had indeed communicated with the fitter whom he claimed not to deal with! Extremely unprofessional, and such a shame one or two people let the company down.

  We bought Quick Step laminate and it is beautiful and easy to fit. I like to so much, God willing we’re going to get more and do the whole downstairs with it. So why the three stars? Because Trevor ruined what could’ve been a great customer experience. He needs to go. We bought two rugs that were in the store, and one had to be ordered. Trevor made it clear that we can’t return the one that’s going to be ordered for us. But we can return the others if we change our mind. He said just don’t walk on them with shoes. We commented that we don’t wear shoes in the house and that was that. Later, at home, I had a change of heart about one of the returnable rugs. In the day we were able to go to the store, we rang to see if Trevor would be there as the rugs are his business, not brother Maz’s. To our shock and disgust, Trevor went back on his word, and refused to accept the rug back. We were happy to swap it which he also refused. We reminded him that that was not what he said to us on the day of the purchase. He couldn’t have been more helpful then. Now he was a totally different person. He made nonsensical arguments like another customer just brought a rug back with footmarks on it. What the heck does that have to do with us!?? And we told him that and that this was not good business. But he didn’t seem to care and became increasingly rude and unreasonable saying we could bring it back and leave it there, but we’re not getting the money back. When we reminded him again that he’s going back on his word, he retorted that, ‘He’s changed his policy from today!’ SHOCKING!! And a real eye-opener of the dirty tricks salesmen employ to sell products then don’t honour their word. Eventually my brother rang Maz, who told us to bring the rug back and he’d sort it out. Bless him, he did so quibble free. We still feel shock and disbelief as to how someone dealing with customers could behave in a way that is dishonest and detrimental to his business. We bought three rugs of him and I was hoping to get more and recommend them to family and friends. But no way am I going to do that now. The sad thing about this whole thing is that besides what he did to us, Trevor has no respect for Value Floors and how his actions reflect on the owner’s business. Seriously he should be rid of and replaced by someone who is loyal to the company and cares about its reputation. We still highly recommend Value Floors for quality and choice. As long as you don’t want to buy a rug if there is a chance you might change your mind about it.

  Brilliant service from Value Floors. Purchased some Ibrido LVT flooring, phoned to see if it was available, which it was, excellent price quoted. Completed purchase online and stated a delivery date and items were delivered to Kent on the stated date well packaged and delivery driver was pleasant and helpful. Thank you Value Floors for a lovely smooth transaction.
