Valley riding school has a lovely friendly atmosphere - great instructors, beautifully cared for horses & ponies, and lots of activities to choose from. My daughter has made some lovely friendship groups there, with others sharing the same passion, which has enhanced her horse riding experience. We can’t keep her away!

Can't recommend Valley School enough. My daughter loves this place - the people and horses - she is calling it second home. She's been riding there for 9 months now - what a change to her previous school . She got super confident , made new friends and learned so much .

Daughter has been riding here for a year now. She tried horse riding at one of their parties and has been hooked ever since. Alongside learning how to ride and be safe around the horses, she’s also formed some amazing friendships and loves every aspect of being at the stables. As well as becoming a much better rider she has also grown in confidence and gets so much from her lessons. Teresa knows her learning style so well and ensures that she’s understood all instructions, and works to teach her in a way that works for her. I cannot recommend this riding school more highly.

MY DAUGHTER BROKE HER BACK USE AT YOUR PERIL. WOULD GIVE NO STARS BUT CAN’T. My daughter was a student at this riding school for about a year when she was thrown from a horse that got spooked by a leaf. I think the horse’s should have a better temperament than that when children are learning to ride. The real problem came after my daughter was thrown she landed on her back and was crying and screaming in pain asking for a ambulance but was told to go home and have a hot bath and she would be alright. The owner proceeded to pick my daughter up and helped her to our car with my wife which could have caused more issues we will never know unfortunately. All of this happened very quickly that in retrospect we should have insisted on a ambulance being called. I believe that the school should have a health and safety procedure in place for this kind of incident. My daughter was still crying and asking for a ambulance. While this was happening she got my wife to sign a accident report form. We took my daughter to hospital where it was discovered she had broke her back and was in hospital for a week. I think the reason that they refused to call a ambulance was purely a financial reason. The class my daughter was part off had 2 students and the students for the class after were gathering for their class and all classes would have to have been stopped or cancelled if a ambulance was called and it would have looked bad. The staff never called to ask how my daughter was but when we emailed them a week latter to tell them what had happened all they said was that they would change the accident reports which I believe to be illegal. This riding school only seems to care about money and have no care for the welfare of the students.
