Ok school they get good grades because they might as well be a prison. They get good reports because everyone is too afraid to step out of line. They have great recourses like a great farm and an ok drama department. But the farm gets low budget and the farm manager has to take some of his own money to help us. Also the school policies are a bit silly and over the top. They have a policy about hair. Your not allowed to have your hair at the top of your head. Which is a problem for me as I have thick curly hair when I put it up it is very difficult to put it back up again when it is dry and I was told I had to take it down. I was in tears and had to stand I front of everybody in the student support. I was also told off for putting on a clear lip balm on in the hallway. In fact I wasn’t even putting it on I had it in my hand and was told to stop on my way to class and was stopped. The teachers are most definitely power crazy and live to yell at us. They are also lacking in the teachers especially in the maths department my last 3 teachers have been fired and I have had supply teachers. I do enjoy most lessons but there are quite a few flaws.

An alright school and very good when compared to other secondary schools in Kent. Only issue is the iPad techs are not the greatest at helping the students and the staff aren't the best. They don't have enough staff which is causing some departments to drop. However, a big school with amazing facilities such as the farm and the football pitches.

I am appalled. This atrocious school has these simple minded, rude people who seek enjoyment in screaming, swearing, getting bad grades and misbehaving. The school has a problem with bullies. These bullies get away with their actions and behaviour. It doesn’t matter how many times a student is sent out of the lesson and receives a detention. The fact of the matter is, no one cares. No one has ever cared about punishing students correctly so that they learn from their mistakes and working hard for receiving the grades worth while. One person in my French class is so rude, selfish, immature, simple minded, disgraceful and ignorant that I dread to walk in the class because I know he’s just going to delay the lesson and ignore most of what the teacher is saying. His behaviour towards learning disgusts me. How someone can get away with such a horrendous attitude. I have never known anything like it. I think that it was a horrible idea to let each student receive an iPad. In my view, technology like that is a waste of time and life to use. It’s not worth it. Though they might seem useful and time saving for work, lots of students play addictive games on their iPads during lesson hours and my old friends don’t know I exist anymore because they are far too content with their anime sons and memes that they have forgotten about their real friends that take time out of their day to sit with them, talk to them and support them. SOME of the young teachers at this school have no idea how to teach, since they allow students get away with acting like infants in a play pen, playing games on their iPads, gossiping with their sheepish companions, using Snap Chat like their lives depend on it and distracting others. People in my classes are CONSTANTLY trying to wind me up, disrupt my learning and others learning and make my day miserable. I do not ever retaliate or bother to show emotions to these time wasting morons who spend most of their time gawking at me, instead I try my best to ignore them and focus on what truely matters. I suggest that you go to the grammar schools instead because you will find that they do not tolerate this childish behaviour. I just hope that one day, things will improve and this school will be more than decent.
