Good products, consistently poor service. Needed a replacement seat, had helpful initial advice but then v slow or routinely unanswered comms; had to chase 3 times to get product sent out after payment, always "about to go out" or "just gone out" (it hadn't). Not a one-off, so expect them to overstate & underachieve and have a back-up plan if you need your kit within less than a few weeks!

Iād like to take this opportunity so publicly thank Valley Canoe Products ltd, mainly Jason, for their excellent after sales service. After paddling my Valley Etain 17.5 for almost three years I spotted a small cosmetic problem with my kayak so I sent a couple of photos to Valley and was amazed at the very fast response by phone from Jason to arrange to meet up so he could take a look at the problem. The problem was NOT a manufacturing fault but caused by my own lack of understanding of the lay up of a composite boat, after a lengthy discussion with Jason regarding how we could resolve the problem he blew me away with an extremely generous and unexpected solution. For a very small contribution they would build me a brand new Valley Etain 17.5. Within three weeks I am now the proud owner of my new kayak. Not only did they build me a new boat but fitted a brand new Silva Compass, Towing Eye and Cleat AND made the long trip from Nottingham to the Lake District to meet up half way for me to collect it. In this day and age service like this is almost unheard of so I felt I had to say a HUGE thank you to Jason and his team at Valley and cannot recommend them highly enough.
