    Please take my advice, avoid like the plague. Yet to have a meter that tells me how much electricity I’m using. They apparent get updates every half hour. Saddled with a fixed contact which I cannot buy myself out of, they have offered me blend and save. These guys place the customer last. Why do I have to give it even one star?

    PLEASE AVOID this scam of a company. They use a company called Utility Hive to cold call companies who basically trick people into unfavorable long-term contracts with Valda. Valda are a terrible company to deal with who don't take any responsibility of the miss sold contracts by Utility Hive.

    Terrible company and customer service. smart meter was installed and never worked, but received high estimated bills that did not reflect usage, called to complain and said that i cannot, wrote an email and had no response. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    Somebody falsely signed deed of surrender tenancy saying my dad has agreed to it, fake signature and wrong address, only thing was right was the name just about. This company has referred to a law company saying he's not paid for one months worth of electricity. My dad didn't know nothing about it until receiving the letter from the law company When my dad tries to speak to the company they won't speak to him saying can't pass security as it's the wrong details, that's because somebody has falsely signed on his behalf. UPDATE: my dad doesn't have an account, the tenant did, he's the landlord

    Genuinely wish I could give zero stars Horrible company to deal with and kept taking money from my account 8months after I stopped being with them, after countless calls to say that I had left the premises they eventually agreed that I was due a refund and now 6 weeks later I'm still waiting on my refund If you can avoid this company then please do this

    PLEASE AVOID this scam of a company!! I’m a 21 year old who has just set up a small business and unfortunately fell for the cold-callers scaremongering tactics and false information given over the phone. I was made to make payment of £40 immediately over the phone under duress (threatened with my salons energy being cut otherwise). There is no cooling off period for business energy, however of course I was not told this either. Immediately after I was sent emails from Valda notifying of £700 & £390 due, immediately after these emails I contacted my bank who blocked Valda from my account. Luckily, I have the entire original conversation on record and evidence of the mis-selling. I contacted Valda this morning and spoke to Jasmine Payne; who basically told me I was stuck in this contract, regardless of me providing video proof of the mis-selling. I also contacted the ombudsman, who were very helpful with advising me on the next steps to take and said if the issue isn’t completely resolved within 8 weeks they will take action. The LAST thing I will do is be bullied and forced into this mis-sold contract, I will fight this the whole way. I can’t believe how many lives and small businesses this very sad company has managed to ruin; a company full of employees with evidently no morals, that solely runs on destroying innocent people’s livelihoods.

    Don't use them. Ignore the reviews of "when I read the reviews I panicked but they're really good" they're not. They take money without asking, get you entered into a contract that you can't leave and constantly take more money than they're supposed to and when questioned they say it's because you need to pay for energy you haven't used for in advance, not sure who in the right mind would do that. Every time I phone I'm told a different thing as to why they are trying to take more money than they need to, none of them actually seem to know the same answer. I can't wait to leave this company, and I'm seeking legal advice about being able to back out of my contract, which I've asked for a copy of three times and they have said they'll send it, but don't! Don't get stuck and do the same thing! Worst energy company I've ever been with. I phone all the time to try and sort it out and they never listen! Wouldn't even give them one star.
