A great place to try out wines, or just for a casual drink with friends. The setup is great - you can get table service for food and wine by the glass, or you can use the self-service taps to try out all kinds of different wines (they have three sizes/measurements available on the tap so you can actually try it without committing to a full glass!). There is a decent selection of finger foods including bread, some cheeses, fries, flatbread, and a few main meat options to share. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a casual outing!

Love the concept. Thought the wine was ok priced for London and lots of less popular wine countries like Hungary and romania to try. But we got a cheese platter for 4 people and it just didn't seem like enough especially for the price of £25 . It was basically 2 slices of cheese each although I will add the cheese was nice. But there was only 2 slices of bread and 6 crackers. Honestly wish I'd taken a pic of it because it seems like I'm lying. Just not enough.

Our first time here was summer 2020 when there was a brief break in the lockdown. We sat outside and enjoyed the wine by the canal. Tonight, our return did not disappoint. Not only are there over 100 wines to pick from, but now there’s food. Wine and a light dinner. Perfecto! Getting to choose from dozens of wInes was fun! We enjoyed a Hungarian white as well as some nice blends and a Pinot. This is the place if you enjoy wine! Music not too loud, food good, just wish it was a little warmer to sit outside!

Great concept and not too busy on a Saturday - some wine was out of stock so not every dispenser was operational. Good selection on offer with useful information and descriptions on flavours and pairings. Didn’t have any food so couldn’t comment, but other tables looked tasty! But, as a recommendation, more sweet varieties (there was one, and it wasn’t in stock!), a selection of dessert wines (so many people love them? The only fortified wine on sample was rather horrible..), and also a written sheet for each table with a printed list of the wines on selection would be good as we spent ages trying to read the small print labels possibly getting in the way. A shorthand brief sheet would have been a nice touch! Will be back and trying other branches!

(Translated by Google) Very very nice tavern. Came here by chance because the restaurant next door was full. You can tap your own wine and beer and pay with your bank card. Quite a lot of choice of wine at acceptable prices. You can also tap small sips to taste at 1.25£. Handy for making a choice. Not much choice of beers. We also had a few snacks. These are OK but not top notch. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is also great, along the water. There is also a terrace (we sat inside). A must to do. (Original) Heel erg leuke taverne.
