Amazing piece of history opposite St James Hospital. One of Leeds 19th century graveyards, 180,000 burials between 1845-2001 covering 2 cholera epidemics. Sadly the graves are no longer maintained, some areas have lost their headstones & it is difficult to find a map or locate the position of numbered graves, but still well worth a visit

Not to be explored at night! Not ghost but muggers etc... But a cemetery of great historical significance. It is the resting place of many famous/infamous people along with people from the charge of the light brigade! If you're from Leeds you may find relatives there in the penny graves. I did
