Staff were very polite and helpful. Got my B1-B2 visa approved. Process was very quick and straightforward. They were especially helpful as they agreed to give me a expedited appointment despite originally being fully booked out for Belfast on their normal timetable, which they are not obligated to do. When you book your appointment i advise to give at least seven months notice to avoid panic. When you attend, a local lady calls you up to a counter a few times and asks for documents. You are then summoned to another counter behind a door for a short interview. As long as you are honest, respectful and do not forget any essential documents they will give you no issues. I probably came over prepared because i brought financial information and evidence of ties to UK but they didnt ask to see any of these. Perhaps because i am only going for a holiday. I would still suggest you bring these though because your circumstances may be different. I went for an appointment on a Friday and recieved my passport with visa back the following Wednesday.

I’m a US citizen, and there’s no way to get ahold of consulate assistance through this location. I ended up calling London to get the help I needed.
