Ridiculous amount of time to get an appointment… you have to tell a receptionist why you need to see a doctor…

I used to have a lot of confidence in this practice but this is no longer the case. I use Ask My GP as suggested and request a response from a named doctor and ideally via email as I work full time and can't answer calls. Despite this, I get a missed call and then nothing. Why have an online system if the main way the staff respond is by phone? How does that help patients who aren't able to take a call during working hours. My query didn't warrant a call, an email reply would have sufficed. Now I feel that if I miss the call again my request will be closed.

I can see why it’s low star rating . Shocking. I can say the worse doctors in Manchester . The receptionist don’t care about your problems, they sit on their fat arses behind the plastic screen making weird excuses , making your life ten times harder. If you can go somewhere else for help I would highly advise you to go else where .

Very insensitive receptionist regarding my own personal mental health. Told me i was ordering my prescriptions wrong and that i had to go through the doctors. When i tried to do this, they told me to do it the way i was doing initially. So rude and no care given at all.

Doctors are great, lets start with that, but the receptionists and office management are shocking bad. from cancelling appointments with no communication, to telling you wrong times for appointments, they are really bad. tip- don't ever request a call back because they one bell you then hang up

If I could I would give a zero star. Awful service. Lots of mistakes made and the receptionist are extremely rude. Impossible to get through the phone. The ask mygp request is from 8am to 12 and ask my GP is already offline at 8.11 am. Difficult and painful no follow up. Just the worse I have ever experienced in my whole life

What are people supposed to do? Absolutely hate the online ask my GP service. It's supposed to be open from 7:30am til 10am for requests. Got up early, got it ready and loaded up and began typing 4 weeks ago because I had strep. Halfway through typing my request, a message flashed up saying "the service is now fully booked and closed to new requests." It was 7:39am. It was open for 9 minutes!
