Went in yesterday for a health issue. Initial nurse who saw me was efficient and quick, after waiting for just over an hour I saw Dr Burke who was professional and pleasant. He prescribed antibiotics and I'm feeling better already.

Injured my back hadn’t slept for 3 nights had it radiating into my ribs and tingling in my legs. Nurse told me they don’t do X-rays on back after queuing an hour, I stated it doesn’t say this anywhere she proceeded to find signs saying it in the clinic… no wonder waiting times are high, she proceeded to tell me I need to see my dr can’t get appointment until 26th… I’ve tried cocodmol and paracetamol this doesn’t work… I can’t sleep and urgent care tried there best to not see me and make me wait for weeks to see a doctor in extreme pain! Triage nurse is rude and condescending with no empathy

I ws at the Urgent Care Centre on the morning of Tuesday 6th to have a wound dressing changed. The receptionist was quick, efficient and patient with me during the check in process as was the triage nurse. The nurse, Clara, who looked after me was extremely helpful, caring and put me at my ease concerning the state of my wound. All in all a great service provided by an exceptional team.

Got rejected last night for dressing change - apparently nobody was available to do it. Suggested I go to A&E. This morning I managed to see a nurse , who after seeing my wound said it didn't need to be dressed every day ( however I had been advised the oposite when i ended up in A&E, due to the depth of it and being super close to my spine). She then reffered me to her colleague ( who was lovely btw ) . Also said I should carry this care on in my local GP practice (same practice that is closed on weekends , and where I got advised to come to Beckenham for that reason ). Two stars instead of one because the nurse who helped me today was lovely , so was another lady that i saw on Thursday am.

I’ve been with this urgent care multiple times, but the way they do triage is really not good. I’ve been waiting for more than 2 hours and my daughter’s been coughing and had episodes of fever for almost a week. They see those people that are obviously stable than her.

This morning I had occasion to visit the Beckenham Urgent Care Centre with acute rib pain. As a nurse by background I was very impressed with the care I received. The receptionist Jennifer , the triage nurse ( whose name I didn’t get) and Dr Shafie were all extremely professional kind attentive and caring. Within an hour and 50 minutes I was seen and assisted. Many many thanks to the team. A wonderful local service.

Came off my bike after hitting a huge pot hole and needed stitches. Nurse who dealt with me was absolutely amazing - so professional and fast, yet humorous and reassuring. Hardly ever need to use the NHS but 5* from me.

I popped into the urgent care centre having left my 9 year old son, who had suspected appendicitis, in the car outside. I wanted to check with the reception staff whether it was better to check in at the beacon or take him to the PRUH A&E. I stood at the reception desk for nearly 10 minutes, being actively ignored by the two reception staff, one of which stopped what she was doing to answer the phone while I was standing there. I have no idea what I did wrong; maybe I didn't look ill enough to be there and they judged that I was a time waster. I walked out and took him to the PRUH, where we received stellar service.

The NHS is broken. The people who work here are tired, overworked and underpaid hence you can tell a lot of them dont care anymore. The doctor was rude, dismissive and accusatory. Such a weird attitude for a doctor and one I wasn't expecting.
