First time visit and very welcoming, with some tricky bird's... Only disappointment was we didn't know that they shut up 12:30 as wanted to shoot a few more & had travelled from Southampton đ So a long way to go to shoot 50 birds.. âšī¸ Would definitely return though đđģ

First time to urchfont shooting ground. Pass it a few times in the days of Upavon but never got round to going till now. I have mixed feelings. Parking isn't exactly easy. Never having been there drove down the track to discover no parking or turning area. So had to reverse out to park on the road. Then got greeted by your late (11.30) you got 45mins to shoot?? Found out at the end they like to try and finish by 13.30. If the parking arrangements had been clearer would have been 15mins earlier. Then when we come to give our cards in the places were ready up on the board? 2 of us were competition. Kitchen area closed not even a drink. The course was a reasonably fun course. Except for the volume of no birds! Rabbit stand was very painful waiting to ho with the amount of no birds. Then stand 6 broke down on the squad before us. Then broke down twice on us. Stand 7 was being troublesome the second bird failing. It seemed to be a know fault as the marker was telling people just to call for the second bird??? Not really right for a registered shoot. All in all a bit disappointing considering how long the ground has been there the facilities were very poor and well behind what is expected of today! Had a feeling from the person taking our money that we weren't really wanted there and not welcome! Markers were all friendly and on the money with the scoring, very hood at shuffling the cards! I can understand why they only had an entry of 69 people. Real shame as the shoot could be something special. Will I go again ummmmm, will have to think carefully on that one and see what else is on. I would much prefer to spend my money where someone can at least be bother to be polite.

Nice place,, nice people, a well run shooting ground,, some stands are quite difficult,, but it wouldn't be a challenge if they were all easy,, so yes would definitely come back again,, me and my young son had a great time đđŦđ§ And the hot food is great to Many thanks

Sunday 4th April, we had a very good shoot some of the targets were challenging but not too difficult, all in all a very enjoyable morning, weather was good also always a bonus.

This apart from my own shoot has to be my favourite in Wiltshire and Hampshire Chas Davis and the team do a fantastic job with the layouts presenting tricky but shootable targets, coupled with a truly superb atmosphere a very competitive price per clay and you have everything you need for a great mornings shoot.
