Decent building however could use a food-related nickname in keeping with the area. Perhaps the taco?

While Urbanest is a lovely building and the residence comes with access to a nice and clean common room at the top, many students like me are placed (without prior knowledge) in rooms with dark and restricted views. The kitchens in these kind of flats are also the hallways and there is no natural light anywhere in my flat, leaving me unwilling to spend the day or summer there and making it feel a lot less like home. While I have asked multiple times if room swapping is available, I have been ignored or straight-up denied in my emails. To put students in box rooms that feel like jail cells feels kind of wrong, although the rooms are of modern design. I just wish I was told about these kind of rooms and views beforehand as we are paying the same amount as people with city and outer views for nothing. It is definitely false advertising on the website and, to those moving in in September, I would advise you to just be prepared to look at a dark building all year out of your window.

Don’t book a A room in 2 or 3 person flat. You will pay the same amount of money for a prison cube- extremely narrow, much smaller than others. My mental health is severely damaged in the dark, small room, while only if I got a GP diagnosis can they change the room for me. Yes, after you are completely ruined, they care :)

20% of residents have no full access to the common room on 13th floor (the pic shown on their website), you can’t even take the lift to there. Instead, people can only use an alternative room on ground floor with no views and is pretty small, and they have to pay the same rent as others. Urbanest DEPRIVED the right that is included in the contracts you sign😂 and they are not addressing this unfair situation. You even have to go to another building for laundry and bin, which 80% of people can go there by lift but 20% can only by stairs. They won’t provide any refunds or other reasonable compensations, with the SAME RENT. Wish everyone a good living experience here!
