The staff were very warm, welcoming and polite. The salon itself was very clean and the atmosphere was great! I had a full body massage and it was absolutely amazing !!! My body had been over worked and I was in quiet a bit of pain before I went in. The lady (Catherine) was exceptionally good at taking out all the knots and releasing tension in my muscles . I was super relaxed and felt a lot more mobile and lighter when I left . I highly recommend this salon and I definitely will be back very soon. Thank you urban Medi spa for a great experience! After visiting this clinic for a blood test to investigate my low energy levels I discovered I had low testosterone. Not only have they helped diagnose this but they've also helped treat it with ongoing daily TRT. It's been an absolute game changer for me and I'm so glad I came here. Cannot recommend enough!

The actual massage itself was good but the therapist lacked emotional intelligence. Unfortunately the treatment was far from calming and relaxing. The owner/therapist should've known better than to initiate a discussion around such a contentious topic on BLM during a treatment! Also, it's not funny nor professional to suggest your male customers are coming into your shop to pick up women. Lastly, if a customer pays for a 90min treatment, you either honour it or give them a choice to change it for something else rather than insist on something that was never requested to begin with. I booked in for braids and a treatment. Firstly she didn’t detangle my hair she went straight into washing it then upon blow drying it hurt and she was doing it from root to end which isn’t right as that causes breakage. Instead of being placed under a steamer for the treatment I was put in a dryer I couldn’t believe it what a waste of the £60 the treatment cost. Unfortunately due to a schedule conflict I opted to change the braids to feed-in cornrow which she claimed she could do after showing her a picture. To my horror she was unable to my horror she didn’t know how to do it. It was lumpy and bulky … then claiming it’s the way my edges are or whatever rubbish was said. I showed her a video of me with the style and still she didn’t know how to get it done. So I asked her to just do under wig cornrow which she then used gel on each row after me having a treatment I was like this is basic cornrow gel isn’t needed and I would then need to wash my hair out in a few days due to it drying out my hair. I am highly disappointed I traveled far and was really annoyed when I left. Basic stuff and it couldn’t be done waste of time and money. They need to find better trained person to take over this service

I’ve been coming to Urban Medi Spa for several months now to have laser hair removal done. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is considering getting this done (and I have recommended them to friends etc). I am having an intimate area done and Kat has made me feel comfortable at all times and is really nice and chatty. I am impressed with the results from the laser and the area in question has almost no hair now. They are also competitively priced. You can get package deals or just single sessions, which I really like as some places try to book you into an expensive package. Also the laser isn’t as painful as I thought. I would describe it as briefly uncomfortable. I’d give 6 starts if I could, thanks guys! Service: Laser hair removal

They get 1 star because i can't give none. I saw the good reviews, so booked myself a hair appointment. I booked a whole month in advance. I received an email and text reminder the day before the appointment. When I arrived at the shop for my appointment the shop was closed. I called the number. No answer. There was no attempt to contact me to cancel. If they can send reminders, how about message a cancellation. But because I left a message on their answerphone, they want to text my phone at 19:49 to rebook. The appointment was 16:30. By that time i had found another hairdresser, got my hair done and was back home. Calling my phone the next day was too late too. So I ignored that call. I will not be going back there. They are unreliable and unprofessional. So if you got that special date, they are not the ones to rely on. They will ruin your day.
