This is my favourite garden centre in the whole world, quirkly and delightful. It has a charming little cafe who do lucious lattes and has an outstanding choice of cakes; all look delicious. We went for banana and toffee muffins and they were utterly yum! You feel as if you are somewhere very exotic, trailing plants dangle above your head and there is the sound of rushing water invoking waterfalls and, well, rushing water. There are koi carp! And lots and lots and lots of plants! It is beautiful. Drink your iced latte and imagine you're on holiday. We had first rate service from terrific Tasha who was warm and friendly and very, very helpful. I'm not previously friends with her so this is an impartial review (but I'd like to be!). However, despite Tasha being fabulous, my award of the day goes to Pete the cat and Luna the dog who do the best job of all at welcoming their guests. What a find. My new fave.

I like this place on a number of levels. Recommended to us over a decade ago, we finally got there today. How sad is that. Well, we weren't disappointed. Some exotic and exciting plants with knowledgeable folk to help you out. And should you have a little extra time, homemade cake, good coffee, and more awaits.
