Very disappointing service, after what I had hoped to have been exceptional from a high end door company. Tyrone McDowall (sales) is a disadvantage to the company. His lack of understanding and communication within his role is not just lacking but when confronted with any challenges is defensive and unprofessional. It took nearly two years to work through the two doors which I purchased, two visits to the show room where the exact door was on show, he still managed to advise us wrongly in which we now have two doors we didn't ask for. Blame was solely directed at us and the first email from him presented us costs (insulting) for any type of rectifying. No phone call was made from him nor the directors in the company who we copied in. A company to avoid.

We’ve recently finished a self build passive standard house. I spent hours looking for a door that would not only blend with our cedar shingle cladding but be passivhaus standard and warrant the high prices that some of the glossy magazine door and window companies charge. I was surprised to find that these same glossy mag door companies simply couldn’t help us when we mentioned the word passive! I cannot rate Urban Front highly enough. From the start they helped with choosing something that would fit in but the quality of the door is second to none. They are quite simply the best doors on the market and the price tag for ours was no more than the glossy mag door companies standard doors which absolutely do not compare with the quality and build of an Urban Front door. It will last us for the rest of our lives and it is a thing of beauty.

Will be renovating my house very soon, and have been researching doors. I visited this factory a couple of times and I’ve fallen totally in love with these doors! So much so that I can’t decide what to go for, as I LOVE them all. Met the lovely owners and they gave me loads of ideas, advice, emailed me a few options of doors that could go well with the walls at the front of the house, with our floor, with the interior. These people obviously love what they do and are so knowledgable I can’t wait to see the finish product. Totally recommend Urban Front.

As a repeat customer having purchased two high end entrance doors from Urban Front over recent years, I am left utterly disappointed with their lack of after sales care. I have a manufacturing defect on a glazed panel (leaks!) and they have been telling me that they will visit to rectify the problem since March (when the weather is warm). The summer has been and gone and they have still not bothered to visit despite numerous promises! Their product is generally good however, based on this recent experience, I will be going elsewhere to source future high end doors that cost £6k+ each.
