No customer service, half the menu was not available. No Ice. Soggy mushrooms, overpriced for what they served. Dry pancakes and syrup with nothing else that cost almost £10. Terrible coffee. Honestly the list is endless.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Urban Coffee Shop in Jewelry Quarter This morning, my friend and I decided to visit the Urban Coffee Shop in Jewelry Quarter, a place we had enjoyed visiting in the past. Unfortunately, this time our experience was extremely disappointing and left us with a bitter taste. We would like to point out several critical issues we faced during our visit: 1. Delayed service: Upon placing our order, we were informed that there would be a 30-minutes delay on our food. However, 45 minutes passed and our order still hadn't arrived. It is understandable that delays can happen, but such an extended wait time affected our overall experience. 2. Unresponsive staff: We asked several staff members about the status of our order, and instead of providing a clear response or any reassurance, they simply walked past our table without providing any update or explanation. 3. Unfair treatment of customers: We noticed that a couple of tables who had arrived after us and placed identical orders received their food before us. This discrepancy in service not only made us feel dismissed but also added to our growing frustration. 4. An insufficient apology and lack of clarity: We ended up requesting a refund as the situation became unbearable. While the refund was offered, the apology we received felt insincere, and no explanation was given as to why others had received their order before us. 5. Concerns about the refund process: We were told that the refund would be processed automatically, but the person in charge of handling the issue failed to take any of our details. This oversight made us worry about the legitimacy of the refund process and further strained our trust in the establishment. 6. Disappointment after previous positive experiences: As regular visitors of the Urban Coffee Shop, we have always cherished its upbeat atmosphere and quality service. This visit, however, was the exact opposite, leaving us disheartened and questioning whether we want to return in the future. To sum up, our most recent experience at the Urban Coffee Shop in Jewelry Quarter was far below their usual standards. We hope the management will take our feedback seriously and work towards addressing these issues to ensure future customers don't have to go through a similarly frustrating ordeal.

Not the greatest experience. We sat down and were told it would be a 25 minute wait for any food orders which we were fine with. After placing our order it took 45 minutes to receive our food. We ordered two croque monsieurs, which when they arrived were barely more than a standard ham and cheese sandwich on bread with crusts as hard as steel, if there was any bechemel it was entirely unnoticeable. Naturally we were very disappointed it took so long for such a mediocre offering. My partners coffee was nice and the prices were reasonable and staff friendly. We'd rather have been told the wait was longer than 25 minutes so that we could make an informed decision whether to wait or try elsewhere. Won't be returning.

I recently visited Urban Cafe and had a great time! The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, and the food and drinks were simply amazing. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service when our waiter plonked our drinks on the table and walked off without a word. I found this to be quite rude and it detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Urban Cafe for its delicious food and fun atmosphere.
