I had such a fun experience at the Sawmills last weekend. So many different varieties of wood to choose from. Adrian and his son were so helpful - showing me the different varieties, talking about them with such knowledge, and finally cutting to my exact specifications. I wanted a piece of wood for a shelf - came home with my shelf and three chopping boards cut from the pieces left over. A bonus! And so reasonably priced. I now keep walking down the hall to look at my shelf because I love it so much š š

I visited Adrian at Upper Elms Farm Sawmill yesterday. I have to say I was mightily impressed with, not only for their warm reception, but the vast array of wood on offer. Plenty of different species, kiln dried, air dried, cookies, slabsā¦all sorts. I was like a kid in a sweet shop! He and his son showed me everything! I mean everything!! ā¦and I loved it! Iāll be the first to admit I know very little. I am a complete noob! ā¦but they didnāt make me feel like one. For that, I was very appreciativeā¦hence this post! 100% recommended!
