Very good location...good walks from camp..good clean facilities. Unfortunatly....expensive...no kitchen facilities or freezer ... Only 2 shower and sink...in both male and female Driveway in is not good at all....you have to stop and open a gateway..and then we got stuck in the deep ruts . Yet the site allows large groups!

Wonderful. Perfectly placed for exploring the vale of Edale. Excellent communication, organisation and facilities but the value of this place is in the location. We camped by Crowden brook in May, this is a magical dell that reminded me of fairy glen on the Isle of Skye. Immerse yourself in nature, fall under the spell of bluebells and bats as you unwind. Wake to the almost forgotten call of the cuckoo and climb high to enjoy fantastic views of valley.

Fabulous campsite in a great spot for exploring the Peak District Walkability: This campsite sits on the Pennine Way and many more smaller routes branch off from the site. Plenty of options for getting out of foot

We stayed for three nights over a Bank Holiday weekend. When we got there it had been raining and the track up to the campervan pitches was really muddy and slippery. It took us a few attempts to get up to our pitch and it wasn't made easier by the cars parked right next to the track. But when we were settled its a lovely site, clean toilet and shower blocks, good washing up facilities. It's a lovely location, perfect for walking and cycling (as long as you don't mind the hills). There is no phone or Internet signal so if you want to get your kids away from their screens and back to basics, this is the place to go.

A beautifully run campsite right at the end of the valley. Facilities are fantastic and cleaned regularly, even when it’s busy they remain in good condition. There’s a couple of pubs within a 20 minute walk across some fields too. The campsite is at the end of a narrow road which is quite a popular place for folks climbing Jacobs Ladder to park, it does get busy and can get quite tight as people park like helmets (saw a Audi Q7 parked in the middle of the road get side swiped by a delivery truck). Other than the road in during busy times, it’s great!

Haha I’m reluctant to do this review because I don’t wanna share this great little campsite with loads of ppl but I have to praise the people at Upper Booth campsite for how absolutely lovely they are. I was greeted with a smile 😃 upon arrival and shown around making sure I was comfortable with everything when Rhian the manager found out I was part of a small group she made sure we had spots close to each other and when she was told one of our party couldn’t make it because of a car accident she wasted no time in making sure the booking was the least of their worries and sent her a lovely message. Site is clean and in a great location too so ticks all the boxes Nearby activities: Hikes up Jacob’s ladder, MamTor and edale visitors centre Walkability: So many walks to do straight from site or a short drive away Noteworthy details: Beautiful surroundings No mobile signal so very relaxing
