I'm SO happy I chose Dr Uppal for my Rhinoplasty. I had septoplasty and open rhinoplasty at The Weymouth Street hospital, I'm now 1 month post op and I'm so happy with my results. This was something I have been wanting to do for years and I'm so happy I finally made the decision to go ahead. For me finding the right surgeon was the most daunting part as you're trusting them with your face so you have to be so sure. I found Dr Uppal through the Baaps search engine where he is one a few of the top registered surgeons for rhinoplasty. I booked a consultation after seeing his very natural before and after pictures as I wanted my surgery to be very natural and not look like a typical 'nose job'. From the moment I met with him I immediately liked his energy and warm, friendly nature. He hit the nail on the head with exactly what I wanted and made me feel very confident it was achievable. I left feeling very excited and happy I'd found the right surgeon for me. After a further two consultations via zoom (due to coronavirus restrictions) I was really excited to go ahead and book my surgery. His assistant Sharon was so lovely and very helpful and made everything very simple and straight forward. My surgery went very smoothly and I was at home again by that evening. The Weymouth Street hospital were great too, lovely facilities and such nice staff. Dr Uppal visited me before surgery and put all my nerves at ease, I felt 100% confident that he knew exactly what I wanted to achieve and more importantly what I wanted to avoid. Dr Uppal and the whole team have been so great with aftercare too, my recovery so far has been pretty simple and straightforward, yet they are always there if I have any worries or concerns. Ive been sending pictures and had two follow up zooms and feel very happy knowing they're there if I need them. Its a really big decision to have rhinoplasty but if you want natural results and a highly skilled, kind and caring surgeon I couldn't recommend him enough! Thanks so much to all the team : )

I totally lost hopes of having a normal, functioning nose. My previous surgeries left me with a mess; my nose tip cartilage was botched - that’s why my nose was pinched all the way up. I had long nostrils, a falling nose and couldn’t breathe properly. Now after surgery, my tip is strong, airway a lot better and my nose no longer a distraction. Mr Rajan Uppal Consultant Plastic Surgeon basically made my nose look more natural looking. In order to be able to move on and embrace the next part of my life I needed to find a surgeon I could trust to fix my nose. The last two surgeries made it worse; I lost faith/overall trust in the whole plastic surgery thing and given up until now. Mr Uppal did not promise me that it was going to be perfect – just better; I’ll take better. Mr Uppal reconstructed both sides of my nose and my nasal bridge and then using a combination of my skin and septal cartilage reconstructed my nasal tip, giving me a more functional and aesthetically pleasing appearance. It’s normal to be emotional immediately after surgery; in my case more so. I was honestly terrified; most people would be excited about the cast coming off but I just got flashbacks of the last time that happened. The percentage improvement cosmetically was around 75% - this improvement has made me 100% happy. I can’t even believe how much of a change was possible. After the post-operative check, Mr Uppal wanted to make sure everything was healing well and intact. This nose reconstruction has improved my health in so many ways and I want to thank Mr Uppal for helping me get a better life. I would also like to thank Sandra Steadman, Medical Secretary to Mr Rajan Uppal and Sharon Roberts, Practice Manager & PA to Mr Rajan Uppal for their friendly, supportive, prompt and efficient service. It’s really amazing what a difference it makes being happy with who you are. I’m getting used to my new nose; it’s like art that’s been sculpted on my face by Mr Uppal and I think I got so used to the nose I had before, as much as I hated it, I felt I was going to be stuck with it forever, so it’s all an adjustment, like I’m getting used to what I look like. I’m a walking billboard for what Mr Uppal is capable of doing.
